Sergi Roberto is to undergo tests to the extent of an injury to his left knee sustained in Barcelona’s LaLiga victory at Éibar. Suarez, Messi, and Antione all scored that game making it a 3-0 win for Barcelona. The next trio is coming along very well. Roberto was replaced at full-back by Nelson Semedo at half time of the clash at Ipurua. He is an outstanding player too and is well to perform on and off the field.
Barcelona later tweeted, saying “@SergiRoberto10 has hurt his left knee. Tests will reveal the exact extent of the injury. Ernesto Valverde’s men ultimately got the end they needed. 3-0 winners at the 90 minute mark. Antione Griezmann, Lionel Messi, and Luis Suarez all finding the back of the net at Éibar. The trio is on a roll, but is it better with or without Neymar? It was a win that saw Barcelona reach the summit in LaLiga, although Real Madrid will quickly regain top spot if they emerge victorious at Real Mallorca later on Saturday.
Barcelona has had an okay start to the season, but Real Madrid has a lead on them. Griezmann opened the scoring with a classy 13 minute goal and teed up Messi to double the lead after skillful work from Suarez. He scored against Éibar to round out the routine. It was game over when Messi finished a wonderful team move. The Argentinian scored a super shot to place it bottom right corner of the goal. Suarez almost added more goals with a striking half volley five minutes from the ninety minute mark. It cleared the right hand post making it off target.
